IEEE International Conference on
Evolving and Adaptive Intelligent
Systems 2026 (IEEE EAIS 2026)
From 21/09/2026 To 23/09/2026
University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy
IEEE EAIS 2026 will provide a working and friendly atmosphere and will be a leading international forum focusing on the discussion of recent advances, the exchange of recent innovations and the outline of open important future challenges in the area of Evolving and Adaptive Intelligent Systems. Over the past decade, this area has emerged to play an important role on a broad international level in today’s real-world applications, especially those ones with high complexity and dynamic changes. Its embedded modelling and learning methodologies are able to cope with real-time demands, changing operation conditions, varying environmental influences, human behaviors, knowledge expansion scenarios and drifts in online data streams.
SPECIAL SESSIONS
Distinguished researchers working in theory, analysis and applications of evolving adaptive and intelligent systems and related areas are encouraged to submit proposals within the technical scope of IEEE EAIS 2026. Researchers interested in organizing special sessions are invited to submit a formal proposal to the special session chair Prof. Pietro Ducange (pietro.ducange@unipi.it) and to the general chair Prof. Francesco Marcelloni (francesco.marcelloni@unipi.it) by specifying:
Special Session Lead Organizer email address, details and mini-bio
Co-Organizer(s) details and mini-bio (optional)
Special Session title
Aim and scope of the Special Session (~half a page)
A list of main topics of the Special Session
A list of potential/expected contributors
Special Session Proposals Deadline : December 1, 2025
SUBMISSIONS
All submitted papers must present research advances and should appropriately follow the purpose and topics of the conference. Contributions will be selected based upon their quality as evaluated by the reviewers. An online submission system for contributions will be made available on this webpage soon.
Submitted papers should not exceed 8 pages plus at most 2 pages over-length. All contributions have to be prepared according to the IEEE conference style guidelines. Templates following these guidelines can be downloaded from the IEEE website (use e.g., bare_conf.tex as an example for LaTeX based contribution).
All contributions finally accepted for the conference will be published in the conference proceedings on the IEEE Xplore Digital Library, provided that at least one of the authors has registered in time.
Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to a special issue in the Springer international journal: Evolving Systems – An lnterdisciplinary Journal for Advanced Science and Technology.
Submissions of full papers are accepted online through the EasyChair system.
EAIS2026 proceedings will be published on IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions for possible inclusion in a special issue of Evolving Systems – An Interdisciplinary Journal for Advanced Science and Technology (Springer).
